Holistic Life Coaching:
Using Integrative Approaches That Often Work Where Nothing Else Does

What You Can Expect

Ready to make a change?

Holistic Life Coaching goes beyond conventional talk therapy, often helping when nothing else does. My focus is on people who feeI like they've hit a brick wall, and the successful ways of coping earlier in life no longer work. With my approach, clients find solutions that enable them to make THE lasting positive changes they are longing for. Clients remove their blocks, so they can be true to themselves and live their most fulfilling life - the way they define it.

In our work, you’ll envision your highest self, and we’ll discuss:

  • Your current situation, direction in life

  • What's most important

  • Your Career

  • Your Family

  • Your Relationships with loved ones

Along the way, to create your best life, we’ll find healing solutions to what might be in the way:

  • Feeling stuck

  • Anxiety

  • Anger

  • Fear

  • Low self-esteem

  • Trauma

Your longings will light the way to the personal growth needed for the fulfillment of your dreams.

My holistic approach, developed over 20+ years, goes beyond Conventional psychology, using powerful body-centered and energy-based techniques. My earlier corporate career adds a 'real world' perspective to my work.

Specific techniques I use include:

  • Core Energetics (synthesis of body-centered psychology and spirituality)

  • The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT, ‘tapping’)

  • HFI’s Gestalt body-centered psychology (combines both body-centered and Gestalt psychology, with Spirituality)

  • Meditation

  • Energy Balancing

I’ve always been interested in psychology - in college, while I majored in economics, I also majored in psychology, because I was so drawn to it to understand why I was always anxious and didn’t feel like I fit in anywhere. When I graduated, I chose to go into business because it seemed like the wiser thing to do. I had a good career and my external life was going great, but I wasn’t happy and didn’t know why. So I conspired with the universe to leave my corporate job (got myself downsized). At that time, I was in a couples session with my wife. I told the counselor and my wife that if I didn’t do something different I was going to get sick or become an alcoholic. So I put myself on a sabbatical and studied things that helped me. I studied psychology and powerful, non-traditional transformational techniques. Then I began consulting and doing life coaching. I’ve been doing life coaching since then, even while I did another brief stint as a financial advisor. It seems that the universe keeps teaching me that whatever I do, I need to be me.

Outside of work, I treasure time with my wife, our son and his family (including a wonderful grandson) - my favorite is being with them at the beach. Also, quiet walks in the woods help me to recharge. I enjoy reading Tom Clancy-like novels, as well books on different spiritual perspectives.

Additional Resources

  • Your difficulties are not a problem - you have a process, not a problem. Listen to, and work on your difficulties (understand why you really have them), they will light the way to growth and greater fulfillment.

  • Change is the healing/transformation that comes from really accepting yourself where you are. Then you can get to work. We all deserve acceptance, appreciation and love… now.

  • Why does 'Holistic' matter? Wherever you are stuck in your life, you have associated stuck energy in you physically, emotionally, energetically, mentally, and spiritually. This is why real lasting change can not be made with will-power alone, by trying to act different. All the aspects of who you are need to be addressed.

“Happiness, not in another place but this place, not for another hour but this hour”

Walt Whitman
